Help! I’m Trapped!
By Andrea N.
As the sun shone through my bedroom window early one morning, I took a shower and got dressed. I got my socks and went to my closet to pick out some shoes. When I opened the door, to my surprise I couldn’t see one shoe at all [well it wasn’t really a surprise]. I dashed downstairs as fast as I could. I saw the little twerps eating their favorite cereal Incredible. Since Jaivon was three and Christopher was only two they called it Super Heroes.
When I got down stairs, I started to yell. All of a sudden my mom came down and said, “What’s all the yelling for?” I told her that Jaivon and Christopher stole my shoes and that I had school. She told us to go to school. She told us to go to our rooms. As I walked past Jaivon the ground started to shake. Jaivon and I both had fainted. I woke up with my mom trying to do CPR on me. “MOM! MOM! You can stop now,” I yelled. "I’m awake and I have school." Then I was off ‘cause I was late.
When I got to school and saw my best friends Kayla, Che’Vantey, Audriana, and BreAnna. To my surprise everyone was saying “Ahh, look at the little baby.” I was wondering why, while I walked over to my friends, also to my surprise.
Kayla asked, “ Are you feeling okay?”
“Yeah,” I exclaimed, as I asked why.
“Because you don’t look like you’re okay.” I walked down the hall while everyone laughed at me.
I went to the girl’s bathroom. Before I could see the stalls I had to plug my nose. As I walked over to the mirror I saw the kiss list [it had all the girls that got kissed.] When I got to the mirror I was confused because I could usually see myself in it.
I asked Che’Vantey, “Can you hold me up?”
Then in the mirror I saw that I was in my brother’s body! I saw juice stains on my shirt and my long straight hair was replaced with short curly hair, AND if that wasn’t bad enough, I looked down and I was wearing BOB THE BUILDER underwear! I told them that it must have happened earlier when the ground started to shake.
I ran to the nurse’s office as fast as I could. Our nurse is so nice she let me go home early. I ran home so fast I felt like I was going to die. When I got home, I raced to the living room. I saw my brother Christopher and asked him where Jaivon was. He pointed behind the couch. I walked past him, and he walked past me. All of a sudden, all over again the ground started to shake, but it was different. I didn’t wake up with my mom standing over me.
My mom walked in, “You’re home from school already?”
“Yeah,” I said as I walked over to hug her. We spent the whole night watching movies and eating popcorn. Suddenly Jaivon sneezed and the ground started to shake. I held my cheeks and said, “Not again.”
