The King Cobra

The king cobra sometimes lives until it's twenty years old. There have been several deaths from the bite of a king cobra. The victim that is bitten by a king cobra dies from suffocation. Their lungs and heart stop. A king cobra can even kill an elephant. When a king cobra is threatened it will flatten its neck bones and make a hood. A king cobra can smell with its forked tongue. A king cobra's fangs are only one-half inch long. King cobras eat other snakes like rat snakes, and many others. Scientists think that female cobras might eat some of their young.

A king cobra is so tall it can look you straight in the eye. The king cobra is my favorite animal because of all the stuff it can do. Some king cobras live in India. The king cobra is a fearsome snake. That is why I like them. CameronB:
