Shoot the Ball!

Well, after Little Clay got in a fight with Eddy in Little Clay and Bobby Meet Their Match he got suspended and his mom decided to move to Corpus Christi, Texas. Now she didn’t have a job. About a month later his mom found a job: a Romani snack maker. Little Clay’s mom found some nice trailers to live in by her job, too.
A girl named Monica and her dad Cecil greeted them as they entered.
“Hi,” she said. Little Clay just grunted. “Do you want to play 21?” she asked. “Yeah, sure,” said Little Clay.
They played all day. Monica won 6 times and Little Clay won once.
The next day Cecil (Monica’s dad) heard that Little Clay was not a very good shooter; he also heard Bill Romani was giving away $1,000,000 to anyone who could make a NBA free throw in one shot. All anyone had to do is send in a poem/song/story, about Romani snacks if they win, they shoot. Little Clay sent in: How could Pilgrims ev’r be contented, when Romani snacks had not yet been invented?
A week later Bill Romani said he won! As days passed Clay got better at shooting by learning from Cecil. The big day arrived. The Spurs were beating the Lakers 84-62 at halftime. Little Clay took the shot and… swish! Little Clay made the shot and won 1,000,000.
