The Water Bottle

by Jazzarae H.

One day Jazzarae's mom gave her a water bottle. Then she dropped her water bottle behind the bed. When she crawled under the bed to get it, she saw a light.

When she got to the light she could stand up. She saw some people sitting on a rock. When she got to the rock there were her friends, Maranda, Kiray, and Tre.

"Where are we?" asked Jazzarae.

"On an island, in a haunted kingdom place, in a water bottle," said Maranda.

"I am in a water bottle? You have got to be kidding me!" said Jazzarae.

"Nope, it is true!" said Kiray.

"Oh, my God! We must be one inch tall. How are we going to get out of a twelve-inch water bottle?" asked Jazzarae.

"A ladder." said Tre.

"Sure, Tre. Make a fourteen-inch ladder." said Jazzarae.

"Out of what?" asked Tre.

"Trees, of course. What else would we use?" said Jazzarae.

"Where are we going to get them?" asked Maranda. "Up on that spooky house." Maranda answered her own question.

"On a house?" asked Tre

"On a house it is," said Jazzarae.

"So we are going in that house?" asked Kiray.

"Yep!" said Jazzarae. So they all went into the house. Jazzarae said, "I'll start leading us up the stairs. Look! The attic door."

"Wow, I think I see a trunk. Let's see what's in it! Wow! Look! Some stuffed animals, and green and blue wigs." said Maranda.

"Look! The roof door! Let's go get some string to make our ladder," said Kiray.

Then right in front of them were a bunch of trees, but they were surrounded by eels. Tre said, "Jump over them!" So they all jumped over the eels.

There on the trees were four sets of bananas, so they ate all the bananas. After that, Tre made a fourteen inch ladder and they climbed out of the water bottle and dropped down in the darkness. Then they woke up in their beds and wondered: Did it really happen?
