Waller Dress Code
|
We adhere to a student dress code at Florida Pitt Waller primarily because we want to support the idea that clothing does not make the person. Instead, we want to encourage that character is what causes an individual to be respected and valued. The dress code was established to minimize peer pressure, improve the appearance of the student body, and improve students' ability to focus in class to reinforce a true academic atmosphere.
Dress Code Guidelines The standard attire for the school year and going forward for Florida Pitt Waller students shall be the REQUIRED Uniform as stated below.
- Uniform bottoms shall fit properly and ride at the natural waist line. Belts may be necessary to ensure a proper fit.
- Uniforms shall not be frayed, ripped, torn, or contain holes.
- Uniform shirts must be tucked in at all times.
- Labels, emblems, and logos (except the Waller emblem and logo) must not be worn.
- The uniform shall be worn during school hours as well as field trips.
